The Royal Mail has awarded the Trust a grant of £500 in order to buy flowers, herbs, shrubs, bulbs and fruit trees for planting out in the grounds of Jefferies Museum at Coate.
A work party started the beautifying process on Sunday 23rd April.

Careful what you plant!
We have been very careful to select old English varieties of fruit trees and plants that attract insects and birds.
We have planted a few bedding plants for some instant colour but these have ended up as good slug food!
